Again, old art. Actually, the lineart itself is a remake of lineart that was a remake of lineart that filled my notebooks senior year in highschool. I had this really nifty centaur concept thing going on in my brain. They were all over the place, 'till X-Mas '98, when I finally drew them out. This is her original final draft: [link] (yes, to my eternal shame, I'm now admitting to actually having an elfwood page -___- Then I redid HER a few years later. Surprisingly, I can't find the original colors of this version. I was so sure they were out there... enh. Anyway, I got fed up. I really wanna color something of my own, even though I haven't been drawing of late. SO, since the original colors on these lines sucked (some of the first I did with the graphire.........) I decided to redo her, last night. The original lineart had her standing in front of a tent that couldn't stand up to serious scrutiny. That bg kinda sucked, to be honest.
She got a makeover.

EDIT: Someone stupid (i.e. ME) u/led the wrong version of this pic. *sigh* - corrected, I hope.
Its been a long time since I have been on deviant art, almost 186 weeks since I signed in, but I got the urge. I was looking through my past favorites and I found Anjel - Color - No lines. So I decided to come and look through your gallery again and this caught my eye right away, you are a very talented artist, as I remembered.
It's not actually a texture, per say. I used the fine-tip ink tool in painter on a screen layer and just drew whatever came to mind. (I guess you could call it a hand drawn pattern layer, though...)
Everything else is either painted in or hand drawn with a pencil.
I really want to pet her mane. It's gorgeous -- especially the colors. I've always dug the centaur concept, mythologically they're groovy creatures. So I especially like they way you've drawn her with a more equine feel. The tuft of hair that goes down her back, for starters. And the horse anatomy in general is spiffy!!

Thanks for the positivity, though
